Happy (day after) Mother's Day!
I got to spend the weekend with my mom and great aunt in a lovely little town outside of Austin. We stayed in a beautiful bed and breakfast and explored the town and their 3 wineries. Yes, 3 in less than 24 hours. There was so much to do, but here are the highlights of our crazy overnight stay:
1. Bought $50 in fudge. With 53+ flavors to choose from, I'd say we got off easy.
Also, the dog ate over a pound of it within hours of me returning home. I got to run up and down the street Saturday night watching Prana barf her brains up like a sorority girl at 2:15am. Don't worry- Micah was there to hold her ears back.

2. Three winery tastings in under 24 hours. Boom shaka laka.

DeleteAww what a cute post! looks like you guys had a wonderful time :) I realllllllly want some fudge now. Darn!!
ReplyDeleteWe did have a blast! Me too... if the stinking dog hadn't eaten it all!
DeleteWhat a fun day! Though the Pinterest gone bad shot make me laugh out loud. (as did your Great Aunt's sensible pragmatism.)
ReplyDeleteSeriously- what it up with that thing? We got in trouble for making fun of it. The owner came out and shot us a look and stood on the porch until we left!
DeleteThat's hilarious. It looks like a great time! And hey, if you need any help polishing off that fudge, you know how to reach me. :)
