Work In Progress

03 March 2012

So here it goes. First outfit post.

Now, don't get all a twitter- this was a "Oh shoot, I'm mostly dressed and should probably try out the new camera" photo session. This was also after a long day of running errands and I'm not exactly my most... fresh. The hubs was in a bit of a hurry to go so it was a quick few shots in the backyard and then we were off.

Why the backyard? There were too many neighbors out front and I don't quite have the confidence to show the world my best angles in live form. I girl scout promise that I will work on my poses and lighting to improve the current setup. I will also make more of an effort to put together a complete outfit.

All in due time.

So, this is all a work in progress. Bear with me.

Shirt: Gap Outlet / Skirt: Thrifted / Loafers: Target/ Sunnies: Target

  1. So cute! I never know what colors to put together. I always wear 1 color and the rest neutrals.. but that pink and the yellow are so cute together!

    1. I pretty much look like a clown at any given point because I just keep piling on the colors and patterns! So I try to tone it down sometimes :)

    1. Um, yes and yes. Only problem is, I don't think any of my clothes will fit if I eat my work in donuts. Ohh but how heavenly would that be?

  5. I can't believe you thrifted that amazing skirt! I can't do outfit posts because I don't know any good photographers! But cute post!

    1. Jess- I used the hubs for this one, but a tripod and a remote will work wonders! I'm practicing on mine now. If you're ever in Austin, let me know and we can do some outfit posts shots together!

  8. Cute outfit. I loved and wanted those Target loafers so bad, as well as those mustard, flower-topped ballet Flats (you got), but since I don't live in USA currently, I cried I couldn't. I settled for a pair of hot pink loafers I could find here in Tirana, Albania. They are the softest leather, a bright but not loud pink and super super comfy.
