I started using John Frieda Luminous Glaze in Clear 2.5 weeks ago and I have loved what I am seeing! I usually wash my hair 2 times a week (curly hair is very delicate and dry) and my ends don't stay together when I straighten my hair. I am nearly done with the bottle, have about 1/3 to go.

How:
I apply about two quarter sized dollops to the bottom 2/3 of my hair after shampooing and conditioning. After conditioning, I squeeze out the excess water and then apply the glaze generously through the lower half of my hair, avoiding the roots. I then clip my hair up and finish my shower. Right before I turn off the water, I rinse out the glaze thoroughly and squeeze out the excess water again.

I then add conditioning mousse to my hair and let it air dry curly. If I wear it straight, I add a nickel sized dollop of frizz cream and blow dry and straighten as normal.

*There is a bit of a chemical smell to the product when you apply it, but I didn't notice it once I rinsed and styled.*

Before:
When I washed my hair, it knotted up and became matted as soon as I touched it with the shampoo and required a ton of conditioner to take out the knots. My hair was difficult to straighten and required a lot of blow dry time to get my hair smooth enough to straighten. My roots became greasy after two days because I had to load my hair with product to help smooth it out. It showed when the weather was rainy and had a tendency to curl and puff when the Austin humidity kicked in.

After:
My hair has become much more soft and easy to manage, both curly and straight. It doesn't get nearly as tangled in the shower and dries much faster after I wash it. My hair blow dries like a charm and is incredibly smooth after minimal straightening with a flat iron. I also went 4 days without having to use dry shampoo or pull my hair up to hide greasy roots. The overall look is more shiny, less frizz, much softer.

Overview:
This stuff is great! I have noticed quite the difference in the texture and look of my hair after using this product. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a salon quality home treatment for under $1 a treatment! You can find it here, here, or your local drug, grocery or beauty store.
